Building Operator Certification (BOC) Training
Building Operator Certification® (BOC) is a leading training and certification program for building engineers and maintenance personnel to grow their understanding of energy efficiency and smart building technologies. With the expertise and resources that attendees gain during this program, they will be equipped to provide energy and resource savings to building owners and organizations. Minnesota Power may be able to reimburse costs for individuals and organizations in our service territory. Energy Design Concepts (EDC)
The Energy Design Conference has been the Northland’s premiere builders conference for the last 30+ years. We are pleased to announce a rebrand of the event to Energy Design Concepts (EDC) starting in 2024 and will be modernizing the educational opportunities as well as providing them throughout the year. Attendees will still be able to obtain continuing education credits and network with other individuals, businesses, and organizations during our new event offerings. Measure and compare your building’s energy to similar buildings, past consumption, or a reference performance level. Minnesota Power can help you benchmark your building with ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® (ESPM).
- ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® (ESPM), administered by the U.S. Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency, is the industry standard for building energy performance benchmarking. ESPM provides owners and managers an ability to measure their building’s energy performance in comparison to peer buildings while controlling for differences in local climate and building-specific end use attributes.
