These events are designed to build community awareness about the economic and environmental benefits of replacing incandescent light bulbs, lamps, and fixtures with energy-efficient, ENERGY STAR® certified compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, lighting fixtures, and lamps.

Save & Benefit

College students study energy conservation and promote the sale of ENERGY STAR® certified CFL bulbs and lamps in their school community and homes.

Minnesota Power’s parent company, ALLETE, has entered an agreement to be acquired by a partnership led by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Global Infrastructure Partners and start the process to become a private company.
