Businesses
Business Expansion Incentive
Minnesota Power believes in helping our customers have sustained success over the long-term. We recently sought and received approval from the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to offer a new, aggressive five-year electric demand incentive for new and current customers expanding by 250 kW of demand or greater.

Renewable Energy Options
Minnesota Power is proud to have met the State of Minnesota’s renewable energy goal of 25% a decade early. Approximately 30% current energy supply already comes from renewable sources like wind and solar. However, with our expertise and products, we are ready to help your business meet your sustainability goals – all the way up to supplying 100% of your energy from renewable sources.

Every year, Minnesota Power provides over $75,000 in core funding for local economic development organizations focused on business retention and attraction.
Shovel Ready Site Certification Funding
Minnesota Power is proud to partner with communities located in our service territory to help them achieve Shovel Ready certification through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
Community-Based Economic Development Grants
